Playing for Corsham 4th XI at Potterne 4ths in a Divison 6 Wiltshire County Cricket League match on 16th July, ANDY DAY scored a creditable 50 for the first time in his long cricketing career in which his bowling has been his mainstay.

Chasing Potterne's mammoth 272 for 7, Andy found his way to the middle with Corsham's reply still 200 runs short and just three wickets left. Undeterred, Andy hit eight boundaries in a run a ball innings which doubled the Corsham total in the remaining overs. Andy remained not out on 51.
