For distribution to Sri Lankan schoolchildren during forthcoming Wiltshire Cricket tour

As listed in the News item dated 10th December 2017, several Corsham juniors will be touring Sri Lanka in a few week's time as part of the Wiltshire Cricket squad.

Many Sri Lankan schoolchildren can't afford to buy kit and the tour organisers have appealed to the players who are going on tour to collect spare / surplus kit which players at their Club have outgrown / don't need anymore.

Kit will be collected at the pre-tour meeting this coming Thursday (January 18th) and transported to Sri Lanka for free for onward distribution to schools. Items 'past their best', missing buckles / grips, etc. will be refurbished in-country. All sizes are needed.

Corsham Cricket Club would like to support this initiative and request that former players and parents look through their bedrooms, garages, attics, etc to see if they have any kit they don't need anymore that will enable Sri Lankan schoolchildren to benefit.

Players attending any winter training session on Sunday 14th January could hand in their donations to Andy Day (U15s) and Chris Draper (U13s). In addition, John-Paul Story is happy to collect from any Corsham address. Please text him on 07976 193341 with details.

On behalf of the Sri Lankan schoolchildren, Corsham Cricket Club would like to thank all those that contribute to this worthy initiative.
