Two of Corsham's outstanding up and coming Academy members were honoured with awards at the Annual Senior Awards ceremony held on Friday 20th November. JOSH STANLEY won the 4th XI Player of the Year award for his 19 wickets during the season, while JACK HUMPHREYS won the 'Bill Miles Trophy' for the Best Young Player. Jack progressed through the 4th and 3rd XIs to make his debut in the 2nds at the end of the season with a creditable 2 for 60 against Frocester. Jack took 24 wickets in all and scored 215 runs during the season.

1st XI Player of the Year was awarded to ASHUR MORRISON for his 831 runs @ 59.36 and 15 wickets.

2nd XI Player of the Year was awarded to CRAIG CHAPLIN for his 28 wickets, while ROB SHILLAKER's outstanding batting performances won him the 3rd XI Player of the Year. Rob scored a total of 1089 runs for the 3rds and 4ths which included three centuries (including two scores of over 150), and eight half-centuries. Rob is the first Corsham player to score over 1000 League runs in a season.

JOE KING added to his award as Wiltshire CCC's most improved player with Corsham's equivalent: the 'Ken Kibbey Trophy' for the Most Improved player. Joe also won the 'Ramsbottom Trophy' for taking the most wickets in all games during the season with his 39 @ 22.72.

STEVE BULLEN took the 'S. Wreford-Hill Trophy' for the batsman scoring most runs during the season. Steve hit a total of 1390 runs @ 66.19 which included six centuries (highest score 196) and three half-centuries.

Commercial Manager, DAVID KLEWIN, was awarded the 'Club Person of the Year' for his fund raising efforts which allowed the Club to install perimeter netting and upgrade the scoreboard at Station Road, and to replace the artificial surface on the pitch at Leafy Lane.

John Gale awarded commemorative scorecards to LUKE DRAPER (maiden five wicket haul) and to BEN DA COSTA (maiden century) achieved during the season. He also presented a summary of the season's performances to ROB SHILLAKER, and a belated maiden five wicket haul scorecard to SCOTT FLEMING.
