Confirmed by Peter Sykes of Wiltshire Cricket and by the ECB

Thanks to the tireless efforts of Club Secretary, Peter Greenwood, who coordinated data provided by Club Coaches, the Membership Secretary and others, Corsham Cricket Club has had its 'ClubMark' status ratified for a further three years. The Club is indebted to Peter for his work in this respect. There follows a copy of the emails sent by the ECB and by Peter Sykes, Managing Director of Wiltshire Cricket that confirm reaccreditation...

From the ECB ...

"Dear Peter
We are delighted to write and confirm that following a review of your ECB Clubmark online file, your accreditation has been confirmed. Congratulations to all those involved at your club for this achievement and for all that they do to promote cricket locally. Having a network of safe, family friendly and well organised clubs is vital for the future of the game and achieving Clubmark status shows that you and your volunteers are at the forefront of this.
Your accreditation lasts for 3 years, but to maintain the accreditation status you are required to complete a short form annual health check in the intervening 2 years. You will be able to download a PDF copy of your certificate by accessing your Clubmark folder on the Online Portal and selecting “Accreditation History”.
If you have any questions regarding the scheme then please e-mail clubmark@ecb.co.uk
Congratulations again on becoming an ECB Clubmark club.
Regards

"Dear Peter,
I am writing to you in relation to Corsham CC’s Clubmark reaccreditation and in doing so am delighted to inform you that I have approved Corsham CC’s re-accreditation. In case you are not aware, the process with Clubmark is that your Clubmark Support Officer (Sam Dent in this case) completes the work with you and then I am required to review all of the evidence submitted and the decision that Sam has taken to ensure that I am happy with the club being signed off.

In Corsham CC’s case I do just want to say how impressed I am with the time that has been given to the Clubmark process and would go as far as to say that this could be a template for other clubs. The amount of evidence you have provided against all of the criteria also helps paint a really good picture around how well governed the club is.

Please pass my congratulations on to all concerned at Corsham CC for this successful re-accreditation.

In terms of certification for your re-accreditation last year this was downloadable from the club portal following successful re-accreditation. However, I will confirm this to you in due course

Kind regards

Pete
