Former Glamorgan CCC and MCC Young Cricketer joins Corsham for 2018 season

Corsham CC is delighted to welcome former Glamorgan County CC player Tom Smith to the club for the start of the 2018 WEPL Premier 2 (Glos. & Wilts) campaign.

Tom, who played for Glamorgan against the touring Pakistani side in 2016, has double hundreds to his name in both the South Wales Premier 2 Cricket League and for his current Australian side Bonbeach in the Southern Bayside competition in Melbourne. He will be a key addition as the club look to bounce back from a disappointing 2017 that ended in relegation.

As well as his exploits in Wales and Australia, Tom has represented the MCC Young Cricketers for 3 years where he has scored the fastest representative T20 hundred from only 29 balls against Kent 2nd XI, and is keen to help the club return to Premier 1 at the first time of asking.

We are sure you will all join in welcoming Tom to Station Road in 2018 and look forward to seeing him add to his 38 career hundreds as well as taking wickets with his right arm spin.
