Ed Vickery and Lily Day win prestigious awards at Wiltshire Cricket Presentation Evening

Boys U15 and Girls U17 Player of the Year

Two of Corsham Cricket Club's Juniors were honoured at the end of season Wiltshire Cricket Awards Presentation Evening held in Devizes last night (14th Sept).

Ed Vickery received the Wiltshire Boys U15 Player of the Year award, while Lily Day received the Wiltshire Girls U17 Player of the Year award. Awards were presented by the Wiltshire County Cricket Club Treasurer, Brian White.

Ed scored a total of 302 runs in 6 innings for Wiltshire Boys U15s at an average of 50.3 which included a maiden century against Cornwall. He also took 5 wickets in 29 overs and scored 80 runs in 3 innings for the U17 XI.

Lily took 23 wickets at 8.43 in 15 matches for Wiltshire Girls U17s in the County Championship with a best return of 4 for 13 against Hertfordshire. Her tally of wickets amounted to 31% of the wickets taken by the Wiltshire Girls.
