As usual at the end of season, a working party is required to attend the Station Road ground on Saturday morning (10th Sept) from 10am to carry out the following tasks ...
Dismantling of covers: remove covers, fold and store in scorebox along with hoses, reposition frameworks to allow winter drainage.
Remove slats from sightscreens to store with covers.
Dismantle perimeter netting posts and move to Clubhouse balcony.
Collect benches from around the ground and move to changing rooms for winter.
Move patio picnic benches to changing rooms.
Move scorer's chairs from the scorebox to the Clubhouse.
Collect any rubbish.
Any other jobs that require attention on the day.
In addition, there are a number of items that need transporting from Leafy Lane to the Clubhouse (tables etc.). The electronic scoreboard will also need moving to the garage for the winter.

Help from members (particularly the cricketers) will be appreciated.
