S&C Slatter (Notts Sports) wasted no time once our order had been placed in attending the Club to rip out the worn out surface and replace it with brand new NG12 surfaces (these have a ten year guarantee).

In atrocious conditions on Monday and Tuesday, two of Slatters' operatives disassembled the old net and framework and installed new sockets that will hold the new, bigger and taller framework that will be installed in phase two of the operation.

Installation of the new surfaces together with new infill material was completed by midday on Friday. The new batting ends include integral stump lines, a new coaching aid to help both batsmen and bowlers.

Phase Two of the operation (installation of the new framework and hanging of the heavy duty nets) will be completed sometime before Christmas.
