Josh Bewley leads the Quarrymans to victory despite early wickets

The Final of the Corsham Print T20 Pub League saw the Quarrymans take the title from the defending champions, Club Cavaliers, in an entertaining play-off match at Station Road.

Batting first, the Cavaliers managed 116 for 8 in their 20 overs with Robbie ? top scoring with an undefeated 29.

Despite the loss of early wickets, Harry Elias, making a welcome return to Station Road, held the early innings together with a typical array of shots and scored 27 before being caught on the boundary.

His work was continued by another Corsham old boy, Josh Bewley, who scored a cultured 30 before retiring. It was left to Steve ? to see the Quarrymans home in the 18th over with an undefeated 29 to give the Quarrymans the trophy at their first attempt.

Corsham Cricket Club would like to thank all the teams who competed in this year's league and also to Corsham Print who sponsored the League.
