All points gained from matches against them will be expunged

Wiltshire League Secretary, Anton Newton, sent the following to all WCCL member clubs earlier this week ...

"I am sure you are aware that Seagry Cricket Club has only been in a position to fulfill one of their first five Division 4 fixtures this season. As a result of this, and in accordance with Rule 3(m) of the Constitution and Playing Rules of the Wiltshire 6X Wiltshire County Cricket League, Seagry will now be suspended from the League for the remainder of the season.

The League's Fixture and Results Officer will now expunge all points obtained by Clubs in their fixtures against Seagry this season.

This is a very unfortunate situation especially given the fact that Seagry have been an integral member of the League for many years now. The League Management Committee apologises to teams who will be affected by this decision, unfortunately the situation which has affected Seagry is a sign of the times."
