Sunday 1sts resign from NSCL and enter ECB NCC, 'Wiltshire Wallop' and ECB U19 T20 NCC

With ten teams resigning from the Premier Division of the North Somerset Cricket League (NSCL), the General Committee have decided that, with availability for Sunday matches always a problem, the name of Corsham CC will be added to those that have formally left the NSCL.

Instead, the Club have given notice that they wish to join the 2016 'Wiltshire Wallop' T20 competition, and have been accepted into the Royal London sponsored ECB National Club Cricket Championship. Corsham have been placed in Group 10 of the 2016 season regional rounds, and have been drawn to play at WINTERBOURNE in the first round which will be played on 24th April. If successful, the second round will be played on 8th May and will be at BATH.

In addition, and to give 16-19 year old members, matches against their peers, the Club have also given notice that they wish to join the Wilts Youth League U19 T20 competition for the 2016. This will give entry to the ECB National U19 T20 cup competition if successful.

Fixture Secretary, Tom Abbott, has been tasked to seek a number of friendly fixtures to complete the Sunday fixture list. It is hoped that these difficult decisions will be supported by players during 2016.
