Lily Day scored her fifth half-century of the season and takes one wicket in leading her team of U13 girls to the final of the Lady Taverners T20 KO Cup Competition where they will meet the winners of the West Isley and Bath semi-final.
Despite the early start of their journey from Poole to Corsham School for the semi-final, the Poole Town girls notched up 90 runs in their 20 overs thanks to some wayward bowling and fielding from the Corsham girls. Despite the early loss of Anna Elliot to an LBW decision, the target was reached with plenty of overs to spare thanks to a hard-hitting 50 by Lily Day.
The girls will travel to either West Isley or Bath for the Group Four regional final on 5th July. The National finals will take place at Grantham CC in Lincolnshire on Thursday 30th July.
