In a rain spoiled day, Corsham Wyverns retained the Wiltshire Wallop Trophy, defeating Goatacre in the final reduced to a five overs-a-side trash in the pouring rain!

Earlier, Corsham defeated Burbage & ER in the first semi-final, while Goatacre ran out winners over Chippenham in a rain affected second semi-final.

After much consultation with officials, umpires and captains, a much shortened five overs a side final in the pouring rain was agreed with Corsham Wyverns scoring 75 thanks to a half century from Corsham Captain, Ashur Morrison. In an exciting finish, Goatacre fell just two runs short.
