Corsham Cricket Club is delighted to confirm that the 2024 and 2025 Gloucestershire CCC Young Academy Player Alfie Johnson has signed a two-year Rookie contract.

Alfie is currently spending the winter in Perth to gain valuable experience in Australian conditions, but has already impressed the First Class County with his abilities, professionalism, and rapid development.

The 18-year-old off-spinner is a hard-working and self-driven cricketer who progressed through the Corsham Academy and Wiltshire’s County age-group system. Since joining the Gloucestershire Academy in 2023, he has demonstrated a consistent upward trajectory in skill, game awareness, and physical development.

Corsham Cricket Club would like to congratulate Alfie on the award of his contract and look forward to his professional onfield debut for Gloucestershire CCC in due course.
