The participating entries included, for the first time, a team from Corsham CC Women’s section. With an immaculate style and joyful approach to the game the Women thoroughly enjoyed their foray into competitive hard-ball cricket.

As the shadows lengthened, bar bills increased and classic catches became fewer, an entertaining final was won by Club Cavaliers, beating their spirited Corsham Rugby Club opponents, who were worthy and enthusiastic runners up.

Thanks to chairman Steve Collier, Lauren Pottinger, Ali King and Gemma Aplin for their sterling efforts on the BBQ, to Connor White, Ed and Angus Bollen for keeping the event in check as scorers and to all participating teams and supporters for making the day an enjoyable success.

The Club was indebted to former Secretary, Peter Greenwood, who was on hand throughout the day to singlehandedly manage the event and ensure that everything went smoothly.
